Woodchuck Day

All weekend we will be giving away fabulous prizes and have other exciting Woodchuck Cider related festivities. Come on down and help us name a new drink, meet the Woodchuck girls and enjoy a 25oz draught of this classic hard cider!

Movie Filming- Sidetrack Closed!

On Tuesday March 31st and Wednesday April 1st The Sidetrack will be closed for the filming of a movie staring Hilary Swank. The movie, Betty Anne Waters, is the true story of a single mother struggling to put herself through law school so she can represent her brother, who has be wrongly convicted of murder. For two days next week, The Sidetrack will transformed into Aden's Pub, the bar and grill where Swank's character was employed. While we apologize for the temporary closing, we just could not pass up this opportunity to see our neighborhood bar displayed on the silver screen! Maybe the famous Sidetrack hamburger will make an appearance in the film too!

Empty Bowls

On Wednesday April 15th, Concordia University, in conjunction with Baron Glassworks will be holding a fundraiser for SOS community services. For $10 participants can pick a handmade bowl, fill it with homemade Sidetrack soup and grab some fresh baked bread, all while helping a local charity! There will also be a silent auction of beautiful handblown glass bowls! Stop by Frenchies between 5-8pm to be a party of this yearly event.

2009 Ypsilanti Area Street Rod Car Show and Swap Meet

Where: Depot Town/ Riverside Park
This years show is two days long! If you cannot make it on the second, come on down on the third! The Annual Show & Shine Street Rod Show will rumble into Riverside Park. Roaring mufflers and classic tunes will rock Depot Town all day long. Beautifully restored Street Rods of Hot Pink, Lime Green and Lipstick Red will rattle your bones and put a smile on your face. If you've never seen a flame throwing contest, or a hydraulics exhibition, then pony on down to Depot Town for a famous burger and some sweet cars.

Beer and Burger Tasting

Burgers and Beer Tasting Mini-burgers and Micro-brews featured On Wednesday May 13th, The Sidetrack will host a Beer and Burger Tasting at Frenchies. The event will highlight Michigan Micro-brews, matched perfectly with specialty, hand-crafted mini-burgers. There will be five pairings, including an appetizer and dessert. There will also be a Brew Enthusiast on hand to talk about the beers and how such pairings were chosen. When: Wednesday, May 13th, 7pm Where: Frenchies Cost: $18.00 which includes five 6 oz samples of Michigan micro-brews and five pairings of mini-burgers. Memorial Day Parade

Come celebrate memorial day with a fantastic parade through Depot Town! This VFW sponsored event is sure to be fun for the whole family. Park your chair right out in front of The Sidetrack to watch all the action and then grab some lunch after!

2009 Orphan Car Show

Where: Riverside Park, Depot Town
This is one of the largest shows of the summer! This show features all makes of antiques vehicles that are no longer produced. Bring your Edsel, Corvair, Hudson or etc. and make a weekend of it. Make sure to visit the Auto Museum, Fire museum and R & M Classic Cars while you are here. The show runs all day Sunday and is located ONLY one block from the Sidetrack!

Depot Town Cruise Nights

2009 Michigan Summer Beerfest

It's a 2 day gig again this year!This is where all the brewers in the state of Michigan come to let you sample their wares. One of the best festivals in the state. Come sample all the great Michigan beers!

Ypsilanti Heritage Festival

25th Year for this action packed 3 Day event. Bring the family and come for a festival of fun. Fire Truck Muster

TRIUMPH CLUB MEET

Where: Depot Town
Now in it's 31st year, the Vintage Triumph Register National Convention is going back to it's roots in more ways than one. The VTR National Convention started as a Weekend get together between what is now the Illinois Sport Owners Association and the Detroit Triumph Sportcar Club. This get together grew into what was then known as the North American Triumph Challenge. The North American Triumph Challenge now returns to Southeast Michigan after a 24 year hiatus.

Antique Truck Show

Crossroads Music Festival
